TMR stands for Tailor-Made Responsibility. The legal requirements are the same for all producers with a producer responsibility for packaging, but the needs are different. At TMR, we shape and tailor our service to meet the unique needs of our producer customers.  

All companies that produce products with packaging must take responsibility for their environmental impact throughout the product life cycle, from production to waste management. This means that the company ensures that their products are handled in an environmentally friendly way and finances the collection and recycling of their products. This is called producer responsibility.

We are the obvious partner of choice for our customers, helping them with all aspects of their producer responsibility, including administration, reporting and developing more easily recyclable packaging. For all packaging materials.

Our business idea is to help producers to fulfill their producer responsibilities, primarily in the Nordic countries but also in Europe. We handle producer responsibility for packaging, batteries, electronics, textiles and other statutory or voluntary producer responsibilities.

A producer responsibility organization for packaging approved in Sweden is prohibited from handling other producer responsibilities or from operating in other countries. TMR has organized the Swedish packaging operations in TMResponsibility AB for 20 years. Other markets and producer responsibility are handled by TMR Nordic (TMResponsibility Nordic AB), which is not subject to the requirements of the Swedish Packaging Ordinance.
